Sarah is a licensed occupational therapist who grew up in Mundelein. She attended the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she earned her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Movement Sciences. She later attended Governors State University, where she earned her Master of Occupational Therapy degree. As someone whose family has been impacted by a neurodegenerative disease, she has a special interest in the dynamic interplay between the mind and body and its effect on function and participation. She has continuing education training in several MNRI techniques (Dynamic and Postural Reflex Pattern Integration, Facial Reflex Integration, Lifelong Reflex Integration, Neurotactile Integration, Neuro-Structural Reflex Integration, and Proprioceptive and Cognitive Integration), Sensory Integration, Oral and Respiratory Integration, DIR Floortime, Therapeutic Listening, and Early Intervention. She enjoys crocheting and performing with her flute quartet, Flutopia. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and two pitbulls, Gypsie and Genie.
