Laura Hexamer

 Laura is a licensed Occupational Therapist who completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy at Mount Mary University. She has been working as a pediatric occupational therapist since 2014. Laura is Early Intervention certified in Lake County. She has completed continuing education coursework in MNRI (Dynamic/Postural, Neurotactile), the Alert Program, Zones of Regulation, Little Spot of Emotions and Handwriting Without Tears. She is currently pursuing coursework in executive functioning. Laura is especially passionate about mental health, emotional regulation, and sensory integration. She and her husband have lived in Grayslake for over 20 years, have 2 adult children, and are long-time members of the choir at their church. In her free time Laura enjoys nature photography, hiking, kayaking, and time at the lake.
