Julie Bergan is a licensed occupational therapist and has been a part of Therapeutic Links since 2003. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee with a Master's of Science in Occupational Therapy. Julie's career trainings include many MNRI classes, as she is an MNRI Core in Training, extensive training in Sensory Integration, Therapeutic Listening, Fine Tuning, Interactive Metronome, Myofascial release, NDT, Healing Touch, CranioSacral Therapy, The Alert Program, Handwriting Without Tears, SOS Feeding therapy, MORE (Integrating the Mouth with Sensory and Postural functions), as well as additional courses focusing on community outings, attention, infant massage, mindfulness, and handwriting. Julie is also a certified Aquatic Therapist. Julie is also a Raindrop clinician and a Healing Touch specialist. As an OT, Julie believes everyone should have fun and participate in whatever they choose!
Although she is taking care of her own health now, she is currently on the Board of Camp Avanti, the Vice President Elect of the Independent Living Council of Wisconsin, the board for Wisconsin Assisted Technology and on a planning committee of the Wisconsin Special Olympics. If she is not helping out at Therapeutic Links, she is probably home with her husband, Kelly, and her two dogs Remmie and Porter, with her parents or wathcing Sioux hockey!
