Emily graduated from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse's occupational therapy program and has been working in this field for the past 20 years. Her experience has included in and outpatient care for adults in a hospital setting, school-based treatment for children ranging from 3 years of age through 8th grade, and private services at various pediatric clinics. Emily has pursued ongoing education in various areas including Early Intervention credentialing; Masgutova Neurosensorimotor Reflex Integration (MNRI); autism; assistive technology; Handwriting Without Tears program; First Strokes writing program; sensory integration; vision, visual perceptual, and visual-motor skills; executive dysfunction; dyslexia, dyscalculia, Bal-A-Vis-X, Kinesio tape and dysgraphia; Interactive Metronome (IM); and myofascial techniques. When she is not at the clinic having fun playing with the kids, Emily enjoys spending time with family and friends. Traveling to both new and familiar places is a favorite hobby. Emily, her husband, and twin boys live in Grayslake and are actively involved at their church.
