Anna is a registered and licensed occupational therapist. Her education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Biopsychology from McKendree University and a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University. She discovered her passion for working with children and young adults with disabilities and developmental delays through working in a therapeutic recreation setting with Warren Special Recreation Association. Anna has also been a volunteer
and coordinator for the Rising Stars Adaptive ice-skating program in Gurnee on and off while in school since 2017.
Anna’s trainings include the Get Permission Approach to Anxious Eaters and Anxious Mealtimes, DIR Floortime, Kelly Mahler Interoception courses, and Early Intervention trainings.
She is also planning to take the MNRI: Dynamic & Postural Reflex Integration course.
Anna is currently working on earning her permanent Illinois Early Intervention credential. In her freetime, she enjoys reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family, friends, and two cats Dorothy and Ozzie.
