Ariel is a licensed occupational therapist who graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with her B.S. in Psychology and from the University of Illinois at Chicago with her M.S. in Occupational Therapy. In addition to working at Therapeutic Links, she spends one day a week as an elementary/middle school OT. Ariel has experience in a variety of populations, from infants to older adults, but her true passion resides with the pediatric population! She has training in MNRI (Dynamic/Postural, Tactile Intensive Training, Proprioception and Cognition, Neurostructural, and more), Zones of Regulation, Handwriting Without Tears, Size Matters Handwriting Program, Brain Gym, Interactive Metronome and assistive technology. She is working toward completing her Sensory Integration Certification Program through USC! In her free time, Ariel enjoys being an indoor cycle instructor, playing hockey, coaching the Chicago Special Blackhawks Team, and spending time with her family. Ariel currently resides in Libertyville, IL with her husband Andrew.
